It's really freaking hot in that stadium. Wear a hat and use sunscreen. If you happen to be in the North upper stands, the sun will cook you up there.

Aside from that, it's fine.

Campus police are like Nazi SS officers. Put your booze in a lastic cup and be careful.

Fans are fine for the most part.

I usually bring a golf towel. It comes in handy either for shade or to dry off with. I can't emphasize how hot it gets in there in early games.

I sat in 44, and it seems I remember back in 99 part of the UF student section was in 42. It made for a weird dynamic.

My last trip there I was in section 43 and no joke LuLu and Jr. were sitting across the isle from me. I wish I still had the picture of me standing behind them.

I would have that sucker framed. SEC royalty right there.

If you're shopping around online and don't care if you sit away from the visitor section (which gatorsimz already pointed out in the map and that will be in full sun all day long), try and look for any seats in the upper areas of sections 19, 17, 15, 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, or 1. Those have seats up underneath the skybox and will be the only protected areas as far as the sun goes. That's the west side/alumni section of the stadium.

Alternatively, there's usually always some folks selling tickets. You're not allowed to sell on campus property, so best bet is to try and look around for people holding tickets around waist or chest height (rather than up in the air and obvious) along University Avenue. Aside from scalpers, that's about the best way fans can sell any extras they have from friends who can't make it to the game or whatnot. Could also try sniffing around the tailgate areas, like the Bull Gator tailgating outside of the west stands area.
