I am planning a trip to Ben Hill Griffin to see LSU vs Florida next weekend. I was wondering if I could get any seating advice. Thanks!

You guys bitch about the originality of the safe space and SJW jokes and then come out swinging with this

Went there in 2012. Found awesome seats for cheap on stub hub 2 rows in the end zone. If you have LSU alotted tix...you will be in the sun all day id a day game.

It's a smelly sweltering shithole. Be up to date on your shots and bring sunscreen

Upper deck is approximately 3 rows from the surface of the sun.

Mix water in with the vodka you sneak in to stay hydrated

Sat right under Spurriers sign when I went. I used the Hubble Space Telescope as a cup holder.
Florida beat the dog shite out of us 56-6. :/

Give Les a call and see if his family tickets are available. Decent seats

A noon game at UF means there will be sooo many empty seats. You might be better off scalping tickets outside of the stadium.

There will be very few comfortable seats in BHG for a noon game. My advice is lots of sun screen and stay hydrated. People will be falling like flies from heat stroke mark my words. Some fans will as well.

Fact.
Not much shade to be had but we are supposed to cool off some.
Stay away from the Sunshine seats. They are named correctly.

Make sure you pay attention to the new traffic changes. They are now closing University completely by the stadium.
If you cannot find good seats cheap online, then wait and scalp them. Drink plenty of water before you go as it will be miserable. They call it the swamp because that is what develops in your pants so powder the boys.

The metal seats get hot so be careful when you sit down.

Haha, all these comments on the heat are bringing back painful memories of the wicked sunburn I got there for the 99 Bama game.
And that was a 3:30 kick. Sun was still brutal.

I've been twice as a visiting fan. The first was a noon kickoff when Troy went down there. It rained all morning and during the game. We got soaked, which may be worse than sitting in the sun all day. It wasn't very packed due to the opponent and the weather. We had a blast anyways.
The second was when Alabama last played down there. We got seats from a friend, and they were 2 rows from the top in the corner of the endzone. It was such a long walk down we waited until near the end of the first quarter to go grab drinks. I got targeted by a rent-a-cop on the way back up to my seats for having a small bottle of whisky in my pocket. And I say targeted because the guy walking ahead of me had his out and pouring it into his coke, but he was wearing Gators gear. I had on a red shirt and it was hidden, mostly. They kicked us out of the stadium. Seats sucked anyways so we went back to a bar across the street and watched it with a bunch of Florida fans on massive flatscreens.

Visitor seats are around section 43, 44, and 45. The LSU band will be right near section 44. It's a noon game so you're going to be in the sun regardless.

My last trip there I was in section 43 and no joke LuLu and Jr. were sitting across the isle from me. I wish I still had the picture of me standing behind them.

At least our fans can fit in a single seat.
