Sean Kugler is the HC at UTEP and from what I can see is a very good man and I think would excel at a decent place. Would he be LSWho material? I don't think so but I do believe he will get a shot somewhere.

How do you not have Larry Fedora in that list?

1. Herman
2. Fedora
3. Frick Petrino

bigger sample size for a guy like Herman

He's had 2 phenomenal years in a row assuming Houston stays undefeated.

I didn't say Sweeney because that is completely out of touch with reality.

Leach seems an obvious fit, but you'd give up the defense that is a huge part of your identity.

What? Leach is the opposite of a good fit at LSU.

Petrino would be scary good at a blue blood power school. I fear him like i feared Spurrier at Florida. I hope he nevers ends back up in the SEC

Saban and Dabo are CEO type coaches, great recruiters. Petrino is like Spurrier. An offensive genius that will embarrarass your arse if youre not resdy.

Petrino

Arkansas made a BCS bowl (and lost) with Petrino and was ranked as high as #3. Program was flying quite high but we never had an SEC-grade defense. I recall a few 40+ point drubbings.

Bobby is a great offensive coach and has an eye for the exact sort of player he wants to recruit but he hates the recruiting effort. He'd rather bang his assistants.

His defenses at Louisville have been fair

It certainly appears so.

Brohm. Herman will go to Texas first shot he gets and Rexas is going to unravel from here on out. Petting is not leaving Louisville. I would like to think Dabo will come to Bama in a couple of years.

I cannot stand Rich Rodriguez.

I'll never forget how he hung his head in defeat and cried when West Virginia lost. The coach and leader of your program should be able to hold his head up high in defeat.

I don't ever want him. Plus, he's not good. He wasn't good at Michigan and I don't want to see the same at LSU.

Screw that guy.

Herman would be outstanding, because he has his teams ready to compete against superior teams. He is young. He is a beast of an offensive coach and knows how to adapt to his personnel.. he would be so refreshing.. He also knows how to take it to good defenses like Alabama.. even with a 3rd string QB.. and he's played with and is great friends with Aranda.. and perhaps the two of them could work together.
