Let me go on record stating that I hope that no one hired in the future with connection to football department is "one of us". We have had extremely mediocre to not very good program on average for the last 50 yrs or so. So hiring coaches/players that are "one of us" will surely end with dumpy football.

99% of the time. MSU learned this 30 years ago with Rocky Felker.

Fortunately we got an outsider AD who ended the nepotism. Now we just try to hang on to any successful coach

When Mullen was hired, he turned the focus more to hating Ole Miss. The rivalry became toxic and a good bit of your fans made it their aim to take down Ole Miss. Visting Ole Miss message boards will show you post after post of complaining about coaches and such. If you visit MSU message boards, more time than not, you will see threads about Ole Miss. What Mullen did for the rivalry was not good and not healthy.

Aaaaand now you're done. I'm out. You just regurgitated every BS party line that Yancy and company invented to spin the narrative.

I won't debate that drivel. Good luck my man.

I know you didn't type that with a straight face. I grew up with plenty of Ole Miss fans, and they never shut up about State. Ole Miss 100% does not look at State as just another SEC team. It's a rivalry, and there is equal disdain on both sides of that rivalry.

If you're referring to the overrated tailgating scene at The Grove, your statement is wrong.

Yeah. Nothing says winning a party more than bow ties and cold chicken fingers.

Talk about throwing stones at glass houses. I don't know how old you are. But, I have been around since at least the mid-80's and grew up in the state. The rivalry was toxic as far back as the mid 80's by my memory. Billy Brewer lived and breathed to beat State. That's really all your fan base had back then.

OM boosters hired private investigators to follow State players and coaches. An OM fan/alum had an affair with the NCAA investigator while he was investigating State.

Why does your AD allow this to continue?

Don't worry. Big brother will take up your slack and represent Mississippi. No need to act embarrassed, it's been this way for a while now.

Here’s the deal Ole Miss fans.
It’s only going to get worse next year when you lose all your offensive talent as well. Not only will you be terrible on defense, you will also be terrible on offense. The fan base said the cheating was worth it, y’all got that Sugar Bowl win everybody was hoping for, now the consequences are hitting you square in the nuts and you can’t take it. It will be at least 2022 or 2023 at the earliest that y’all will be in contention to make another bowl game imo.
Also don’t fool yourselves into thinking it’s only MSU that hates you, everybody in the SEC hates you and nobody respects your team, because people in the south hate arrogant douchebags that cheat.
Good luck finding a decent coach to take over that dumpster fire of a program. I guarantee the coach will not come from a SEC school. It will be somebody that no one has ever heard of, but at least you will have the wise words of Yancy Porter to spin everything into a nice, warm loser blanket and tell you everything is going to be ok.
Y’all got what Y’all deserved, Now deal with it you little Bitch.

Don’t forget the hopeless delusion that Ole Miss is well known for.

We taste success
.

This hasn’t happened in half a century.

We win the party

Comical myth.

Let me give you some advice for your next melt thread this season(because you will have several more opportunities). Leave the part out about the obsessed little brother that hates you so much they spend their entire existence trying to bring you down. I invalidates your entire drivel post

Good grief! Why not just sit back and see what happens. All programs except maybe Alabama with Saban ebb and flow. Ole Miss has gotten rid of the racist symbols and can now compete for the type of athlete other programs attract. We'll possibly change a few coaches, build up the program and win some games. It'll be fun. Ole Miss has tasted winning and will be back. Oxford and Ole Miss is an attractive location and the program can bring in good players. We're just 13 down right now and maybe we didn't have as well a selection of defensive coaches that we wanted. Sure, we got embarrassed by maybe one of the greatest Bama teams ever, but they are going to do the same to some other teams. We all need to relax, remember it's just a game and enjoy what's left of the season.

And all of the yardage we gave up against Southern Illinois? Sorry, but our defensive staff is pure dogshit. Longo's play calling doesn't work against well coached defenses. And Luke....frick that fat fricker.
