Hope AM doesn't crap in their pants like the last time they played in the Cotton Bowl....
"It was Texas A&M's twelfth Cotton Bowl Classic appearance, tied for the second-most visits among any team. The Aggies' last trip to the Classic was in 2005 when they were defeated by Tennessee, 38-7. Overall Texas A&M holds a 4-7 record in Cotton Bowl Classic games, however the Aggies have lost FIVE straight with their last win being a 35-10 victory over Notre Dame in 1988."

We have a larger national profile than TAMU. Even with Johnny football. We are a known commodity. When the committees sit down do you think they are going to go on speculation that Johnny football will bring viewers despite having a lower rating playing the same team? Or do they take the team who has been a national team for the past decade and dominated the TV ratings for 2 years straight?

Manziel will draw a lot of attention from the bowl committees. Problem is we're a known commodity. You're talking about a school that sent in over 40K requests to the Rose Bowl and we didn't even know if that's where we would end up. We're a fan base with people that wiped out the entire Seattle area out of boat rentals including yachts. We went to WVU last year and caused an alcohol shortage. I could go on.
Like I said. We're a known commodity. If you think either pass on a hot LSU team you're nuts. Not to mention we'll have a higher BCS ranking plus a head to head win.

They want LSU. A&M to the Cap One was pretty much a done deal. The SEC office was putting major pressure on the Cotton to take Georgia, but the Cotton won't budge on not taking LSU.
The Fiesta would have been better but we lost 2 at home and have zero complaints.

You simply cannot be this dumb. Not arguing which bowl is greater. Who cares? LSU fans started all that BS anyway.
Post was about the REASONS or "FACTS" some dilusional LSU fans made about the bowl process and how there was zero, nada, none, zilch chance of A&M being taken over LSU.

Go find the thread about which bowl is better as if it really matters at all. I'm just glad for 2 things:
1. We aren't playing Northwestern again
2. We aren't in the chickenbowl.
