What irks me is that a lot of TAMU fans think their cotton bowl bid negates the fact that LSU beat TAMU pretty handily which is hidden by the trash TD at the end. Y'all still placed 3rd in the West. Congrats on the bowl bid, I would have liked to have it so enjoy. But that wasn't some kind of tie-breaker with LSU. The game played in college station was

I agree but I've seen fans from all fan bases on the SecRant do the same. We all have our idiots. There are plenty good posters from all teams and plenty shitty posters representing all teams.

Meh. Would've been 12 had we not had a stupid facemask penalty at the end on 3rd down to extend yalls drive. It wasn't as close as the score would suggest

My comment was in regard to the fiesta bowl. Of course the cotton took you once Texas was out. You're in Texas.

Just making fun of the idiots that were 100% CERTAIN that there was no way in the world A&M would get selected to go to a bowl over LSU because of the way LSU travels and gets TV ratings. They dismissed the drawing power of A&M and JFF. Nothing more and nothing else.
As stated in the OP, the post was directed at a half dozen fools and not all LSU fans.
It doesn't matter what anyone thinks would happen if A&M plays LSU today. The simple fact is LSU won when it counted. Not taking anything away from LSU.
LSU has scoreboard this year.
