With a tough stretch of games ahead of them, and being as banged up as they are, it does seem likely that LSU will drop one, maybe 2 games even before Nov. 3. Probably not, but it is likely

I agree but I still think Auburn is much better than their record.

This shouldn't surprise people. In 2010 LSU dropped 2 games, dropped 4 in 2009, dropped 5 in 2008, dropped 2 in 2007 & 2006 & 2005. Really, 2011 was an anomaly for a Miles team.

i think it depends on their d. it has talent and emotion at home when its a big game. i dont think they play as well though vs bama on the road.

I have to disagree with Shep dropping the ball. The pass should have been led to the inside letting Shep run to the ball. Instead it was thrown more to the outside forcing Shep to run towards the defender and letting the safety make a play on the ball/reciever. Not Sheps fault there IMO.

When he was sacked by Lemonier? That wasn't a herp derp moment, that was a forced fumble. Lemonier is a man child.

It was more derp than herp... Ball security is mucho important with Miles..as with every coach

It is possible, but I don't think LSU will lose before November 3rd..our D is too strong

Auburn gave other QBs the same problems this year, but they were able to find the receiver.

Mett played fine last night. Our receivers once again dropped the ball, literally (and as expected Josh D got his arse whipped). If they caught passes they should have, his stats would have been great.

This game was close for one and only one reason:

LSU: 9 STUPID penalties for 80 yards.

LSU simply dominated Auburn in every phase of the game.

Total Offense: LSU 351 Auburn 183
Rushing: LSU 182 Auburn 86
Passing: LSU 169 Auburn 97
First Downs: LSU 15 Auburn 9
TOP: LSU 33:11 Auburn 26:49

We can play "what if's" all day long. The simple fact is that LSU won a close game, on the road, where they completely dominated and outplayed their highly talented, but very dysfunctional opponent while playing a very, very sloppy game.

I can honestly say I'm tired we keep trying to force the ball his way. The only way he's ever been effective is as a ball carrier as a motion man from the slot or from shotgun as a RB. Don't use him any other way anymore, its been more bad than good.

I don't think LSU has played a team with a strong enough offense to really test them. Neither has BAMA. I think the real difference will show in the stretch with Florida on the road and USCe at home. Those teams can mix it up a bit and we all know Spurrier is a shifty one

If I were an AU fan, I'd be more upset as to why the team that took the field last night against LSU wasn't the same team the first 3 weeks.....

They would have been 3-0

AU brought it.......and they gave themselves a chance to win. LSU still won.

I think it will help Miles get to this team the next 2 weeks (before UF).

Great game AU

So......averages say Saban loses some games soon.

If you want to talk records..Since 2000(you know, since LSU has been really good), LSU has a 9-4 record against Alabama

This might surprise you: Les Miles coached LSU teams have won 11+ games 5 out of 7 years. LSU has won the SEC West 3 out of 7 years and the SEC 2 out of 7 years.

So........... How is 2011 an anomaly?

Well, I can already tell you that won't be Florida, South Carolina or Texas A&M
