We've played 4 real football teams. Not teams like North Texas.
Okay.
What's funny?

Last night was an aberation. AU was sky high and probably not be able to reproduce that defensive performance again this year, LSU mentally looked like ching chong potato for a lot of that game, I don't believe we will reproduce that type of performance again.

Clemson and Mississippi State I can agree with. But ULM? Come on. They beat an Arkansas team in overtime. That is their claim to fame. They are 1-2 after three games. And that Arkansas team, I think we can both agree, is garbage.

not really...Auburn stacked the line and played a lot of single coverage on the outside. Mett couldn't make the throws.

This I will agree with. That game was the 2009 Iron Bowl all over again. Mett is an inexperienced QB who hadn't played on a big stage like that yet.

they're also a team that took Auburn to OT and had Baylor on the ropes. They're Auburn's worst opponent, but they're not a mid-tier slouch.

You speak of Baylor as if they are a good team.

You know, the fumble that was recovered by Auburn deep in LSU territory?
You talking about the one where he was hit in the head and facemask that wasn't called?

Stop being stupid. We have played, I'll give you ULM, 3 top 25 teams already. My point, your orginal topic is retarded, and I was making a counter.

It still doesn't change the factual nature of my post. That fumble changed the very nature of the game.

No facts were used in the OP. Fact.

Fact: At the start of the second quarter, LSU had 120 yards, led 9-0, and had held Auburn to negative yardage.
Fact: The fumble deep within LSU territory put Auburn in an excellent position to score.
Fact: That touchdown breathed new life into the stadium and into Auburn's defense. It was tough sledding for LSU from thereon out.

We played about the worst we could possibly play last night. Josh Dworaczyk simply isn't the answer at LT for us and the coaches need to get it figured out what they want to do. He played maybe the best or 2nd best DE he'll have to play this year if he stays at LT, but that was just an abortion of a game. The guy cannot be playing on an island our out on the edge. Pretty easy to see despite him having an OT body why he always played guard. Move Hurst to LT and have Vadal Alexander step up at RT. Move Collins to LT and Dworaczyk to LG. Hell try Davenport at LT. Do something, we can't have Mett getting killed.
We looked like a well oiled machine very early on (sans the fumble inside Auburn 3 - still resulted in 2 points and ball back for us though) then the second fumble which led to Auburn points really took everything out of us. Anytime we were moving the ball on Auburn later that night we kept screwing ourselves over somehow. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy play. About the only thing steady on offense were Mett and Ware. Mett's stats would have have been very good if receivers would have caught the balls they should have. The receivers once again played like they had butter fingers and weren't getting as much separation as they should against a weak secondary.
Last night was a disheartening performance, but we saw how good we can play when we played Washington, and that's what I expect to see when we play @ Florida in 2 weeks. If we play like that, we should beat every SEC team sans Alabama by 2 scores and the game shouldn't ever be in doubt in the 2nd half.

Fact: Mason made a boneheaded play in the endzone and cost Auburn 2 points.
Fact: Bray fumbled the ball and gave LSU their only 2nd half points.

You have no way of knowing what would have happened after he made the catch as the catch was never made. This isn't fact, that is speculation.

It wasn't Mason's fault that your coaches called an outside run with your back right up against the goal line.
quote:
Fact: Bray fumbled the ball and gave LSU their only 2nd half points.
This is the only legitimate fact you brought up.

Mett made the throws when Josh D allowed him to be upright we just didn't catch the damn ball.
