You are confusing him with Pat Dye…..that’s why Ms Sue divorced him, ask his bipolar daughter.

Absolutely false.

But, 100% fact is that he used to slide off to Deshler HS and "coach" defense on a weekend bender in the 30s. He won a state championship along the way

The father of my best friend in high school was one of Coach Bryant's closest friends. Many Thursday nights he and Mary Harmon would spend the evening over at their house, playing cards (a game called switchback which is similar to gin), eating and having cocktails.
Nothing he ever did or said led anyone to believe he'd abuse his wife. They'd get pretty drunk, but my buddy never mentioned anything that would have indicated otherwise, and he certainly would have, because a lot of stories came from those Thursday get-togethers.
PS- "Daddy" was one of 5 men who helped get him to come back, and "helped" him handle his financial affairs!

Well, you mentioned a bi-polar daughter and thought this one was a bit more topical. Bi-polar and violent.

I guess English and reading comprehension was not required when you were in school, you must have hung out at the "James Brooks" library a lot and colored.
