We won 17 games total last year and haven't been to the tourney since 2004. I'll take any fricking seed

I mean, that's fair. But it's pretty ridiculous to say it's not hindering your resume. you're like 21-3 and your rpi is barely sniffing the top 25. of course it is.
anyway, this thread had nothing to do with flaming the cocks, no idea why you've swarmed it en masse. roll tide baby! most wins against top 25 opponents in the conference wooooo!

do you realize how dumb that sounds after we've beaten 21 teams, and the last 2 teams were ranked #1 in the SEC when we played them.

It doesn't sound dumb at all. he's exactly right. your schedule by any objective measure is a joke. it's great South Carolina has done what they needed to and won almost all their games, I really mean that. great to see. but gimme a break disputing ppl citing objective data pointing out that you've played very little competition. those are the facts.

Time will tell, but I've watched enough college basketball in my lifetime that SC is primed to be that team that rides into the NCAA tournament with a lofty record only to be bounced in the first or second round.
I'd like to see SC do well, but like I said, time will tell.

And even if that doesn't happen, it doesn't make what you said untrue. Had no idea I was kicking a hornets nest with this one but these guys are obviously VERY insecure about that resume.

So insecure. Tied for 1st. Best overall record.
But boy you got those Top 25 wins

I mean I was expecting it to be derailed, I guess I just assumed it wouldn't have been SC fans.

Pretty crazy considering how many games Grant lost at Alabama vs top 25 competition. I didn't expect much this year, but CAJ is doing wonders with this team in his first year. Bama has the most wins vs the top 25 since 01-02. Grant was notoriously known for blowing games late. Johnson is 9-5 this year with games decided by less than 10 or less points.

SEC Now had some good stats. They had a bar graph show Avery's win % vs the Top 25 and Grant's.....it wasn't pretty.
Then they said we are something like 6-1 in one possession games.

He really is ... he's going to have Bama basketball doing really well within a couple of years.
But I'm wondering ... who are the four Top 25 teams Bama has beaten? SCAR, A&M, ????????

Notre Dame and Wichita State are the other two.
