Last season we were shaky in team rebounding and scoring in the paint. I believe this coming season we'll become more of a inside-dominant team with improvement in both those areas. Silva IMO will develop into an all-conference level player, and Kotsar will be closer to averaging double-digits.
The big question will be who picks up all the scoring from the departed guards. With improved inside play they won't need to totally fill the void: Felder has shown explosive ability to score, and should be the front-runner to replace Dozier at PG, but he needs to become more consistent. Transfer Holden was the leading scorer and assist man playing PG at smaller Delaware, and has scoring ability. Gravett needs to do more offensively.
Too many new additions to the roster at guard and small forward, so the rotations at those positions still needs to be seen before any projections can be made. The newcomers need to pick up Coach Martin's defensive style and intensity quickly, and that often takes time and a little ugliness before that happens, but that style led the Gamecocks to the Final Four last season, so I doubt there will be any lack of quickly buying in and having faith in what Coach Martin and his staff are teaching, like there has been in the past.....

Indeed we do. We lost little, return a lot, and add a lot. Darkhorse SEC shot this year just like 2 years ago.

Will Wade's second year I think we make it. Right now LSU's program is a bunch of misfits.

What kind of depth do y'all have? How much legit SEC talent so y'all have?
LSU is coming off literally one of the worst seasons in SEC play in the past 50 years, and that's no exaggeration.
Other Auburn fans and South Carolina fans too will back me up here, but rebuilding from that type of dumpster fire takes longer than you think it would for basketball. And AU and USCjr both are doing it with coaches who are much more proven than Wade.
If y'all are in the NCAA tourney in year 2 then y'all were already hoarding some decent talent that was already on campus when Wade got there.

Having a top 68 team shouldn't be too big on an expectation.

Without 4 senior starters, Kennedy can't make the dance.
