Although they dropped a pair of 1 run games in College Station last week, the Gators seem to be learning what it takes to win games.

1. USCe ( clearly
2. Vandy ( 23-6 over all 5-4 but have played LSU, UK & Miss St. already, hence # 2.
3. Bama, played UM & UK,6-3.
4. Florida, 6-3 vs. Ark. TAMU & LSU. Very close 4rth.
5. Miss. St. 6-3, but has played Ark. & Georgia so far.
6. Kentucky is 4-5 in the SEC but has played Bama, USCe & Vandy. beating USCe 2 of 3.
7. LSU 3-5-1 in SEC but have played Vandy & Florida.
8. Ole Miss. without the Mizzou sweep this team is 1-5 in SEC.
9. Auburn, played TAMU, Tenn. & Mizzou, nuff said.
10. Texas AM
11. Arkansas
12. Tennessee
13. Georgia

There is no logical reason for not having USC 1st and MSU 2nd. Lol at putting Vandy ahead of us. We shelled Beede.

Also, people skyrocketing Florida's and Bama's rankings just because they swept LSU and Ole Miss need to pump the brakes. LSU is what everyone thought they would be at this point in the season and Ole Miss just had a bad series. There still top 5 in the SEC.

I have a feeling we'll have a couple more "bad series."

Alabama is good because they have great starting pitching and possibly even better relief. If the hitting is on, they can be as solid as anyone in the conference.

I think they've proven that with series wins over Kentucky and Mississippi. As well as an "OOC" win over Auburn. It's a young team that needs to learn to win away from Tuscaloosa.

It's overall, not just SEC standings, and Miss. St. lost 2 out of 3 vs. Holy Cross. 1 series do not make the rankings.

Bama has lost 2 series but one was to a top 5 team. Bama does have 7 top 25 wins. I think many are underestimating Bama pitching staff
