All these Arizona people in the stands look really old and sunbaked.

I am pulling for Carolina, but they do get a ton of favorable calls on balls/strikes. SC pitchers live on the outside black and the umpire starts giving them an extra 6".

Roth gets favorable calls because hits pitches have so much late movement. He fools the batters & the umpire.

He just struck that guy out on 3 balls. All of Carolina's pitchers have been getting those calls. Granted, I have only watched the 2 Arkansas games and these Arizona games.

Tanner has figured this thing out. They don't have any velocity pitchers on the roster. They are all location guys with some movement or an odd delivery. They use those guys to wear out the outside part of the plate. College hitters won't go out there to get it. On top of that, the umps start to expand the strike zone out there. Tanner is a genius.

In February? Yeah - that's always a good indicator.

Not to mention Auburn is/was a much better hitting team than Carolina. Carolina has a tough time scoring runs if you don't give them base runners. That is another element of Tanner's genius. They may not be able to hit, but they get on base.

Too bad we cant hit for shite. I feel bad for our pitchers who are dealing. Thye have averaged 10 runs and Roth is shutting them down. Sadly, their #3 pitcher is making us look blind at the plate.

Zona's coach seems like a good guy.

He seemed pretty chill for being 12 outs from a national championship. Most college baseball coaches are absolute lunatics

Like Tanner said a while ago, y'all need to get some seeing eye dog singles and capitalize. Roth will keep it close as long as he can go.
From my angle on the tv, I thought the double hit fair in front of 3rd and was foul when it went over the base so it should be 0-0. TV angles are funny creatures though.

This must be what baseball was like in 1906.
