If by fails you mean losing to the 2nd best team this year and the BTB champs from the previous 2, with some suspect calls that have been mentioned prior, and like the FLAGSHIP, is actually a "non SEC" SEC team , I THINK YOUR ON TO SOMETHING.

Good game and series to Arizona....they were the better team, and we just couldn't get our bats going....really all season, to be honest.
Still I'm very proud of my Gamecocks, and look forward to next season: despite big losses in Roth, Price, Walker, Marzilli, and Matthews, we have a lot to build on with the youngsters in our program: Pankake, English, Greiner, Martin, Costen, as well as the great pitchers in Montgomery, Beal, Seddon, in addition to Holmes and Koumas who's already got some great experience.
Then add in all the great talent incoming, and we may make another run at Omaha in 2013!
