No Arkansas anywhere. By the first of June Van Horn will have this team playing for a spot to Omaha.

I don't expect the committee gives yall such an easy road this year. To OSU (worst host) & then you host vs Miz St. because they didn't put a bid in to host of super.

What's really crazy is that I see neither South Carolina or North Carolina in that poll ... which has got to be the first time in many many years.

I may be wrong, but isn't at least one of the major BA writers a UNC grad? That is surprising if so.

Good to see UK at 25. Unfortunately half of the SEC and at least one OOC opponent is ahead of them.

I'd like to see them end up in a region that's either not UofL or stuck in Gary, Indiana when it's all said and done.

how many seats does Cliff Hagan field hold? As a lawn aficionado, I love the field there and the 'degigns.'

I believe around 3k but they were going to bring seats/bleachers in when they were supposed to host a few years ago and got screwed by the NCAA and their "OMG TOO MANY SOUTH SITES" bulllshit.

I've given up on baseball preseason polls. They seem like wild guesses. I think baseball is the hardest of the Big 3 sports to accurately forecast, possibly because loaded teams can still be rendered ineffectual by a minor line-up change and terrible teams can still manage to get a lucky RBI.

I met Hagan a few times in the 80's when UK came to the All-American Bowl and the 1985 SEC-T.

Well yeah. Any preseason poll is a guess. There is no actual data to use. Just basing it on the very few knowns.

Maybe we have a shot at a super regional now that we have run off our TCU loving former AD.

FIFY

I can't help it that A&M is ranked in just about everything in schedule or upcoming.

There is no universe where USC shouldn't be top-15 and making the postseason.

None.

Don't we have like the #2 incoming recruiting class? Thought I read/ heard that somewhere.

If so (actually in any event) Holbrook needs to be run out of Cola on a rail with the quickness. No damn excuse for the results Holbrook has produced considering the talent we have.

And there is one poll that has us at #17. Not sure which poll it was.

We will be good on the back end of the bullpen and we'll score runs but our starting rotation as well as our middle relief has lots of question marks.

The operative word in this case was "wild."
