OP I agree. You prerank AU because they still return a lot and won last years game so since its close you give them the respect of being ranked first and let the rest take care of itself in the season.

Wha? AU was 30 secs away from beating them last season. This season IF AU gets a chance they'll finish it. Bama on the other hand I have no idea about considering what they are replacing. They could be NCs or a 4 loss team.

I mean I get disagreeing and believing AU is a better team than Bama, fine but being incredulous that someone would think that Bama will have the better team this year? Nothing but trolling.

Yeah that guy is trolling for attention. Both Bama and Auburn will be very good. No problem at all putting Bama ahead of Auburn at this point considering(as others in thread have already stated) schedule and playing Alabama in Tuscaloosa

Alabama doesnt deserve to be ranked in the top 5. They return a career back up at Qb who only has a few weeks to learn their offense. The lost the entire secondary sans a Safety that gave up huge plays against top 25 offenses. They now have LANE as an OC which is laughable in its own right.
No way they escape losing 3 games this year. And if they lose early, they will choke on the pressure throughout the rest of the season.
