BigDigRick does it again! He is now 3-0 against Oats this year between beating them on the court, and going into the state and taking the #1 player in Alabama, Dewayne Brown.
This makes the 2nd consecutive year that Barnes has gone into Alabama and took the #1 player in the state away from Oats.

Wrong! He is a 4*, and he will most likely play forward, and he’s ranked as the #1 player in the state. Also he had offers from ALABAMA, Miss State, LSU, Cincinnati, Ole Miss, Providence just to name a few. Oats wanted him, but couldn’t beat Barnes out for him.

He’s a composite 4*
Bama offered him and wasn’t able to out do Barnes for the #1 player in Alabama. Also he’s tanked in top 150 in the country, and #20 ranked center in the country. He most likely won’t play center unless he grows a couple inches. I would expect him at forward.

Imagine that final 4 team being dominated by Barnes on their own court. If UT and Bama swapped paths, Bama wouldn’t made it past Texas, and Vols would have made it just as far.

He actually just turned 17 so he probably will end up in the 6'11 range. He is not even the biggest kid on his team Hoover has a 6'10 kid that is 15.

Had never been mentioned on the Bama board until he committed to UT yesterday. I had never heard of him.

If you think this 3-star player is a miss for BAMA you have completely underestimated the caliber of players BAMA has been recruiting. The transfer portal then becomes the difference in creating balance, experience, and the right fit in the system. New basketball 101 and you are missing it.

He's only about 6'7" in real life, so it's more likely he gets to his currently listed 6'9". He'll make a solid PF for Barnes some day.

I know Bama offered this kid. That’s what I do know. They wouldn’t offered and been recurring him if they didn’t want him.
