My first comment in this thread was an obvious joke from the rant and was more self deprecating than anything else. Was not looking to hook you Aggie fans. I like Sumlin and would be happy to have him as AUs coach.

WDE successfully trolled me.

An insider on one of the pay sites says that Auburn came to Sumlin with a blank check and said "name your price". He also said Sumlin had interest from 3 NFL teams and that Philadelphia offered him the job.

I'm guessing Philly offered after Chip Kelly turned them down initially. Then came back at Chip with a bigger offer after Sumlin said no thanks.
