The arm of Jalen Hurts. It's like everyone thinks that his arm is bad. The problem is that he's a PURE FRESHMAN. Any coach will tell you that a finely tuned passing game downfield is very difficult for any QB in college, especially a pure freshman. He has a very strong arm, and eventually it will all come together for him and he'll start hitting with more finesse on the long throws. With the off week I think he'll surprise this Sat. in the passing dept.

I'd be more than happy if our secret weapon is Tony Brown. We need to fill Eddie's shoes and it won't be easy.

Is a pure freshman like a true freshman that comes from a long line of true freshmen? Kind of a mud blood/pure blood situation?

It's like better than a Sidewalk Freshman, I suppose.

The words are interchangeable, mean same thing, synonyms, take you pick.

He did not look good against us, FWIW.

Hard to disagree. I worry as much about filling the leadership vacuum.

They teach him to under throw a wide open receiver and error deep to a covered receiver.

We gonna need some good, chain moving throws the rest of the year. he doesn't have to go all tom Brady but just be efficient. He shouldn't be a freshman anymore at this point. Stay away from turnovers. If we secure the ball we'll be fine. Turnover Yeldon dam near cost us a game 2 years ago down there when it should have never went to overtime.

I seriously thought this was going to be another obscure rule that Bama's staff found that somehow gets them to start the game with 7 points or something.

Cause seriously, Bama has people on staff purely to pour over laws and by-laws of the NCAA for every competitive advantage.

Wow, that started off as a troll but now I've made myself jealous.

Whatever, frick Bama. Your QB is going to shite himself on Saturday and we're winning by 21. Then Coach O is going to lead us to the National title and Sonic will offer .50 corndogs all day, every day in celebration. Book it.

His accuracy has been abysmal.

Not sure why it changes this week.

No. A pure freshman is from Krypton. All other freshman are inferior

Ridiculously late delivery causes that.

I hope this is the week he starts to look like he's making strides in his passing. It will be needed, I think.

More like his brain. Arm is there. His decisions and accuracy arent there yet. He is a freshman.
