Bama how good is your DB's?

Marginally better than last years. Humphrey is an upgrade, and Minkah is progressing, but there's still woes.

I think if you guys start passing it early in the game, Chubb will begin to get his runs.

An East loss is not meaningless. A 2nd SEC loss gives OM a 2 game cushion over Bama head-to-head, assuming they beat UF.

Bama needs to win out and ole miss needs to lose 2x or once and then the tiebreak goes to record of east opponents i think

Incorrect. If 2 teams have the same record, head-to-head is the first tiebreaker for the division.

If we lose and Barnett doesn't start the rest of the season, Saban will have successfully made my arse quit. I won't stop watching, but I will stop caring.

I think you guys win a close one, but I understand the sentiment. I would be the same.

I think, for the first time since he arrived, that Saban is ending his tenure at Bama. I think the end is near, win or lose this season.

Watching this team is more than about the QB. It seems the attention to detail is not there like it has been in the past.

There's not much scarier in the SEC than a pissed off bama team

They should have been pissed off against OM, we saw how that turned out.

UGA wins easily. No QB, no offensive line, no special teams play to speak of, and Saban no longer gives a frick. Alabama then mails it in the rest of the season, and we can ask Utah and OU what happens when Alabama mails it in. Losses to LSU and Auburn forthcoming, maybe MSU and UT.

They haven't been since 2012

I still don't understand, why he abandoned the power run game after 2012?

I'm not worried about our 5 in the secondary matching up against their wideouts. Between the talent and the pressure we will hold our own there.

I'm worried to death about Chubb and Michel catching the football in acres of space and picking up 30 yards at a time. Our linebackers are going to have to stick their backs in coverage on every snap. That's been a bit of a weakness that can be exploited. Our secondary really hasn't played badly this year.

Not only does it matter to Mississippi but if they lose to UGA then lsu can forfeit the game in t-town and still control their own destiny. A Bama loss this weekend is definately a positive for lsu.

Yep, this game will be huge. Alabama needs to show up big for this. Coker can't get intimidated by the road. O-Line will have a huge test too dealing with Georgia's front 7 and communication wise with the noise. Defensively, you can't just think stopping Chubb will do it. Lambert has had some nice throws this year and has a completion % around 70 I belive, so I think Georgia will definitely try to establish a balanced offense, which will be hard. Alabama needs to stop Chubb and pray the secondary can cover. I wish we would blitz Foster more. He struggles in pass coverage so much, but he is so built to attack up the middle.

I know people will say it has been against crap opponents but Lambert is looking really good. He is actually no. 2 in the nation right now with a 76.5 % completion rate... If Bama sells out to stop Chubb and the run, I believe your secondary will be in big trouble, and Lambert, Mitchell, Michel, Mckenzie and Godwin will have a field day.

you realize that it's still an SEC loss, right? Therefore ole miss would have to lose 3 games, right?

I think if Bama just sticks with coker they win the game. But if Saban cant make up his mind like he did 2 diff times at LSU, could cost you more games.

What? If UGA has problems stopping the run.....and Coker has a good game.....Alabama will roll.

Coker sucks though, and won't have a good game. Alabama by 3, I think.

Heard this very same sentiment expressed during the season by Bama fans twice before: in 1982 and in 1996.

Here's hoping the results are similar in 2015.

The only coach that needs to leave T-town is the one that is poison in the water and it ain't Saban

It's the SEC. Everyone's season is on the line each and every week.

I honestly don't buy either team. If I had to pick, I would say Georgia but they are worse than us in big games
