Trey at his height he isn't going to stay at RB for long.

He will be a RB for as long as he is at Bama.

So he knew when his redshirt was burnt he would be playing backup in the BCSNC game? Wow.
And he's one injury away from being the starter for a team playing in the NC.

What the hell are you trying to prove?

The list of 4 star recruits who found their careers' end on Alabama's bench in the past few years is pretty long.

That is because most of our team consists of 4 stars we cant play 100 kids at once.

I'm just saying taking 4 running backs in one year is a little excessive, to me

Hey, if they want to play for Alabama, why stop them? Our coaches tell them straight up that it will be a competition.

'you know, maybe you should go to another school and start.'

Yeah, great strategy, tell these kids they arent good enough.

Tenpenny for one probably could have started at Arkansas this year, but Alabama HAD to have him. Now he'll probably transfer.

Over Alex Collins? Sure.

He knew he was an injury away from starting against Arky, UT, UGA, and Bama.

It was proven when he started against WCU due to an injury.

How many players have we gotten from Norcross? 3 since 2007?

Its interesting that no one is considering that we likely wont take a RB this class. So Kamara and Jones end up being our freshman backs for this class.

Not really. We're good at any position Kamara would have played.

It's no secret that Norcross has been pro-Bama.

Henry's future is at the H as well.

Maybe he'll see some time there for the other backs, but he's staying at RB. He's shown he does indeed have vision and moves, which is something I wanted to see from him before the season. In HS he was good because he was bigger and faster, but I've been impressed with his agility and vision. Needs to improve in pass pro, but he's going to be a lethal back for us.

All 3 that y'all have wanted.

This is not an insult btw. Pretty impressive to have an OOS pipeline HS at a place as good as Norcross

I guess he'll be saying the same thing next year. He probably could have started somewhere else this year and for sure next year.

Do you not think JW could have beaten WCU?

Scarbrough would be a great WR in the Christion Jones mold.

I am not one to argue recruiting, mainly because it does as much good to discuss it on these boards as trying to win an argument with my wife; but most updates I have seen out of Florida seem to indicate that it will be tough to hang on to Bo Scarborough. Seems like he is going to a lot of FSU practices and such lately. Correct me if I am wrong though.

The kids Alabama recruits are told that the best players will play, regardless of age. The ones that choose to come here are confident in their ability and the competition only makes them better. This is an overlooked driving factor behind the success. I can never fault a kid for going to a school where he can step in right away and play, but I think it says something about a kids character and competitive spirit if he wants to join and team and compete/beat out talented guys at his spot. Some kids, believe it or not, want to earn it. That's the kind of athlete Alabama attracts, it's the ultimate destiniation to prove yourself
