You are underestimating the:

1. legitimacy of the Bama Defense
2. We still don't have a new offensive coordinator. We are just rearranging what cam put together.

In terms of being the head coach at LSU, I think Orgeron is a better fit.

Jimbo is a proven winning HC at a major program, has experience at LSU, can coach offense and recruit & develop QBs. Jimbo, with a top notch DC, should be a very strong combination. Virtually no learning curve and low risk. He should be LSU's top target, imo.
