I agree that UGA has the edge, but I am not seeing the large talent gap between the two teams.

BAMA has to do 3 things to win:
1. Stop the run & force UGA to be one dimensional (Fairly self-explanatory).
2. Don't let UGA dink and dunk your defense; that's how UGA has been protecting Lambert thus far. Make Lambert have to read coverage and throw the ball downfield with the kind of pressure he'll see from BAMA!!!
3. Tackle well in space; UGA's athletes WILL make you pay if you do not tackle well. Hence, the reason that "dink & dunk" pass offense works so well.....
UGA has to do 3 things to win:
1. Win the battle upfront! If the BAMA D-line asserts itself at the line of scrimmage and dominates, that will not be good for UGA.
2. Find some different targets! Lambert cannot be locked in on the same targets; BAMA will make you pay. Have multiple targets and make BAMA defend the entire field....this was Ole Miss's biggest advantage by far!
3. Chubb and Michel will have mismatches! Take advantage by moving these guys around....

Agreed completely. Nice breakdown.

I agree that Bama has the advantage on D and Georgia is better on offense.
I lean Georgia because the Georgia D is a lot better than Alabama's offense. Pretty sure Alabama has the worse special teams in the SEC.

LB: Bama. The best compliment to the DL. They are fast and can cover in space. They seem a lot better from a year ago, of course though Big Fat Trey Depriest isn't back there so......
I would say this is a wash. UGA has great LBs. Its really just 2 different styles of LBs.
UGAs LBs are fast as shite to the edges, and they have 2 great pass rushing OLBs. Meanwhile Bamas LBs are next to impossible to run up the middle on.

LSU has looked a bit suspect here as well.....

I am more concerned with you thinking your secondary is better than you thinking your linebackers are better. Overall really good solid post though.
Good call td, I assumed he put our secondary as better. I think we definitely have the edge there.

Hey we want in on this cripple fight dangit! UGA has started upwards of 9 true freshman on special teams this year sometimes it looks like the keystone cops are playing out there.

How did ULA Mo score 14 points on Georgia? They could do nothing against Alabama.
With all that speed on D they should have been able to handle the dinking and dunking. Our D not only stopped that they beat that team up physically.

Upvote. Nice analysis.
The only thing I'd maybe question is your assessment of the two secondaries, which I'd have as being more of a push at this point.
Nice job though, and I'm definitely looking forward to this one.

Bama's Special Teams looked better Saturday. Kicker and Punter. No fumbles. Only had 1 turnover, an INT. Kinda looked like Coker's arm was hit. 5 dropped passes, 2 for TDs, was concerning. All in all it looked like a scrimmage where Bama was trying to work on passing plays.

Will Ritter's crew be calling the game?
As much as I'd like to see the teams decide the outcome, if his crew is calling the game Georgia will have to play well enough to win by three touchdowns in order to escape with a 1-3 point victory.

Well a lot of the passing was on a true freshman playing in his first game- McCoy, but that is also what I was referring to with the a weakness being exposed in the middle of the secondary.

We will win by 17 or more points.

I agree with this.
Man it's weird seeing this and bama not dominating most positions Uga is better all over the board on offense. Going to be interesting.
I'm hoping Georgia pulls a Georgia

I agree, more excited about our db's and defense in general than I have been since 2011...

They passed the ball to one guy over and over. Heard he got hurt vs bama. Now the question is, why did your o only score 34 in 60 minutes? We scored 51 in 51.
