I think is a Wash at best. Our linebackers are fast and frightening to look at.

People are sleeping on this Bama secondary. It's much better than most people assume.

Of course it's good. It's loaded with 4 and 5 star talent. I just think UGAs is better. You could make an argument our linebackers are better too but that's really splitting hairs. Biggest concern for me in this game is our OL verse the Bama DL and linebackers. That's where the game will be won.

Lambert is going to light up the Bammer secondary.

If this game somehow turns into a shoot out we are frickkkkked

Alabama can win a slow paced, low scoring game.

I think it will be up to the QB and secondary for both teams. Both are talented at RB and in the trenches. However UGA may have the edge with secondary and QB. Looking forward to this one!

Can UGA stop Bama's off tackle runs?

You don't have to. Joey Freshwater does an effective enough job of that.

If Alabama is gonna win this one the defense will have to play lights out and Coker will have to play his best game of the season.

I think Georgia fans will be surprised at how much trouble their offense has moving the ball in this game. Sadly, they will probably move the ball move than our offense.

Griffin looked very good last weekend, which bolstered my spirits a lot. Both of those FGS, especially the one from 40 yards out, split the uprights with a ton of room to spare. It's only one game, but it certainly gave the impression that Adam is back to snuff. He looked great.

Scott's average was low, but he had a ton of punts within the 20. Shorter fields hurt his overall average I think. So, I still think UGA has the better ST, but our kickers are much better than they were earlier. Probably stopped listening to our ST coach ;)

Now, if we don't fumble returns and stop making bad throws, we can win the TO battle. That second one though is a BIG if.

I think a big matchup to watch is Bama inside run game vs UGA inside LB's...if Ganus is one on one with Henry in a hole I may not like our chances in that matchup. D-Line has been playing well for us and needs to continue to do so.

I still have nightmares of Lacy running through us, over us, around us, in the 2nd half of the SECCG. Don't want to see that again

That was all from a deep and very good OL working against a razor thin and tired DL that game. Bama doesn't have that OL any more. Hell, I think their OL is the weakest part of their team.

To help the OP out, UGA has been completing passes to 10+ difference receivers the past couple of games, including a very strong and deep TE group. In addition to Mitchell, Reggie Davis and Isaiah Mckenzie can stretch the field. Godwin is improving with every game, but needs to secure the ball better, and behind them are plenty of others with game experience. UGA will also use any RB/FB out of the backfield as a receiver. They all have good hands, even the third string, walk-on FB.

The UGA secondary has some weak spots that at least have been exposed in the first few games, so I assume they are being worked on. They are young, but as I mentioned before I do truly believe that Malkom Parrish is the best secondary player on the field for both teams, especially considering he really just started playing the position once he matriculated. He is great at tackling in open field and has great instincts defending the receiver with the ball in the air.

True. Hopefully he doesn't wake up and use the run effectively.

Probably gonna see Floyd at ILB on 1rst and 2nd downs, but you gotta remember Ganus has a bone to pick with Bammer for getting his program shut down.

That and the ND game was essentially the only games I have seen Alabama consistently run the ball and continually doing it until the defense stops them. Since then, the play calling has been pretty much like this: run on 1st down, pass on 2nd and 3rd down. Its frustrating as hell, especially now that it looks like Henry is molding into a better back and gets better as the game wears on.

The best strategery UGa could employ would be to let Henry get 8 yards on 1st down. They wouldn't have to worry about him running the ball again.

Georgia has many WR's... don't include "Wash" when comparing WR talent between the teams when there is such a huge talent gap between UGA >>> and Bama
