Bama ... struggles on ... defending the pass.

People keep saying this and maybe it will prove to be true. However, Alabama's pass efficiency defense is now up to 11th in the country and easily 1st in the SEC. The stats could be a function of poorer competition, but people might actually be underestimating Alabama's pass defense right now. The younger DBs are rounding into shape.

i mean really think about it. it would be a trophy game that would actually inspire a team to give it their all. cause no way in hell does anyone ever want to get stuck with the shite end of this stick

Bama has the #2 pass defense in the SEC in yards per game given up

The good teams that they have played have all been run oriented teams (georgia, wisky, arky) outside of Ole Miss who passed for 341.

If Kyle Allen passes for 341 on Bama, they can easily lose that game imo.

I am in no way saying that Bama's secondary is bad but I expect us to have success against them.

Here are some extended Highlights from the Miss St game if you wanted to see how Kyle Allen plays/throws.

And whoever down voted WestCoastAg's trophy idea, deserves to be beaten. That's the greatest trophy idea I've heard in years.

COMPLETELY agree.

As long as Alabama and Kiffin remember to run the ball, early and often.. they should run all over that pathetic run D.

I am curious if any two schools have ever shared that many head coaches between each other. Three across all sports seems like a lot - three in a single sport is downright weird.
