I know this will easily be chalked up to bias, but every Aggie knows that we roll LSU or Florida if we play them at the end of 2012.

And what are the unbiased opinions if BAMA had played aTm the week after someone other than LSU?

Apples and oranges imo. I am just saying our Freshman QB improved dramatically through the season from where he was in the UF and LSU games. First real teams with a pulse that he ever played.

Have you bothered to take a look at our 5 game schedule leading into the game with bama? I think one home game and we hadn't had a bye week all year. Chalk up your loss to LSU game, but most of us see through it.

Never seen so much cockiness for basically accomplishing nothing. One season removed from firing your coach and the first Top 5 finish since the 50s...wow!

Serious question: Are all of the Bama fans on this site going to hang themselves after an L on 9/14?

Probably not since recent history has proved that we will probably win the BCSNC regardless

quote:

Its also funny because we get called cocky, but its only the Bama fans proclaiming the win as a fact.

Actually it appears that there are several fanbases in this thread alone that is saying it, not just Bama fans.

But all jawing and joking aside, I do think that the aTm game is the toughest game on Bama's schedule. They did pose some matchup problems for Bama. For Bama fans (or any other fans for that matter) to say that we were physically and mentally fatigued at the start of the game is akin to Texas fans saying that if Colt hadn't got hurt they would have beat Bama in the Rose Bowl. It's part of the game and they beat us fair and square last year.

Now I do think that having the aTm game on the 3rd week of the season with a bye week before will help Saban and Bama better prepare for aTm this go around, but that is also part of the game of football. I know that that game is/will be the most talked about/most anticipated game leading up to the start of the season. It'll be a hard fought game, with huge implications (from an SEC standpoint, and a national standpoint) tied to it. I know I can't wait for 9/14 to get here.

I am going to be a wreck the 1-2 weeks leading up to 9/14. That day I will have to just maintain a solid bourbon buzz from the moment I wake up until I hit the sack.

10/6 @ Ole Miss
10/13 @ Louisiana Tech
10/20 LSU
10/27 @ Auburn
11/3 @ Mississippi State
11/10 @ Alabama

Not exactly murder's row leading up to Alabama, other than the tough LSU game (which was at home).

4 touchdowns over an opponent will start the shite pushed in status. It was a good game though and I enjoyed the tailgate boudin and y'all were the best visiting fan base of the year.

Was this shite pushed in status?

We gotta beat vtech before we worry about a&m. Lets hate one team at a time fellows. Barring the return of jesus, this game will get here soon enough.

That's a tough road game stretch, especially having ZERO bye week all year. Wears on a team...not just the physicality with no rest, but the constant traveling.

Yes, all jawing aside, this should be a good game.

Playing 5/6 on the road in the SEC, with your lone home game being LSU, with no bye, was light years more difficult than your stretch leading up to our game. That is why using the "we played LSU the game before" excuse is bogus.

Bob I noticed you didnt post the scores from that brutal a&m stretch. I guess you can't admit that the brutality ended once the last second ticked off the clock for LSU. Auburn was over in the first quarter and A&M was up 31 -0 on MSU in the third. Essentially two scrimmage games before BAMA. Not so brutal once you figure that in is it?

Anyway, A&M printing those t-shirts about Bama is about as stupid as anything I've ever seen.

You're right. traveling on the road for nearly six games straight without a bye couldnt possibly start wearing down a team.

LSU fans talk big now, but in the end their total and complete hatred/obsession for Bama will win out. If it's a close game in the 4th, they'll be cheering for A&M.

It would seem to be to LSU's benefit for us to win since they get us at home and travel to Bama.

No, I called you out because you replied to this:

Yeah, talking shiit this close to the game, probably not a good idea.

With this:

Yeah, it didn't work out too well last time.

Even though I pointed out this:

Meaning, you weren't here last time. You didn't talk shite, you didn't talk - you didn't exist before that game.
