Yeah... Mett said it was his hard work and dedication that got him the starting job in a struggling situation at LSU. But when it came to getting kicked off UGA for sexual assault (which he plead guilty to), Mett told the AJC it was "God's Plan"
It was "God's Plan" that he ended up with opportunity to start at LSU and "turn around" the offense.

Not sure why Alabama fans would be so cocky other than the obvious which is that is just how the gumps are. Bama played 2 quality teams this year and they were not the best team on the field in either game. What makes you think that will change? This is not last years team. Your team this year is young and very flawed against good competition.

As compared to the LSU team that dominated AU 12-10 and Ole Miss 41-35 while also losing to Bama 21-17 and Fl 14-6.
This is not last year's LSU team either. Fortunately for the Tide, with a win over AU they will be in the SECCG. With a win over GA, they will be in the BCSCG. Going for their 3rd Title in four years.
