Ya also not a fan. I understand honoring Heisman winners but I like statues just for the coaches.
There is such a thing as too many statues.
Plus, the Heisman is largely a political popularity contest, not really statue worthy.
It's also pretty much a QB/RB award.
Stick to honoring championships won by the whole team.

I would rather choose players for the honor based on contributions. Heisman only goes to offensive skill position players
