No but they'll keep saying it to help them sleep at night. Bama is the favorite again next year and will be in the picture when playoff time comes and all these players that are gonna play this year that supposedly suck will have Butkus, Remington, Doak Walker and Heisman award type years and we won't be able to replace them NEXT YEAR.
It's a vicious, undeniable circle (jerk).
We won a championship with Jake Coker. Jake Coker. I know, I know he was a 5th year senior blah blah...who had all of two years in Bama's system and one year starting in which the other he sat behind a QB who was only a full time QB 2 years at Bama and only played any significant time 1 season. Not the same as having PLAYED for 3 years....but whatever.

That and if Arkansas doesn't pull a rabbit out of their asses prior to our game, I doubt Bama would be as motivated as they were, Tuscaloosa erupted when 4th and 25 happened.
