Face it folks, Bama isn't gonna have a down year due to talent until Saban either retires or has a few bad seasons. Until then... we will just keep...

Some things will have to break the teams way to be back in the playoff.
Somethings will have to break the other way for them not to be there.
They'll be in contention the way things break will determine if they win it or not.
7-1 in SEC play seems par for the course. 5 straight years at that mark is amazing, but twice in that time frame that has not been good enough to win the west.

Yeah, most of them seem to struggle and then finish strong...
Griff finished 23 of 32 for 72 percent. Not bad... and really found his groove with that long one against LSU.

Had he missed that kick I doubt we lose in the manner we did. You could feel the swing in momentum after.
That and if Arkansas doesn't pull a rabbit out of their asses prior to our game, I doubt Bama would be as motivated as they were, Tuscaloosa erupted when 4th and 25 happened.

I can see Bama winning a few more, Texas A&M winning some SEC championships. Back and forth like that for the next 10-12 years or so.

I just can't wait to see the question, "Who is going to step up and replace Coker?"
This after the entire board trashed him throughout the summer of 2015 and even into the middle of the season. A lot of the trash talk was definitely warranted, but the kid pulled through for Alabama in a big way when we needed him the most.
You can argue it was the talent around him but that talent is not going away anytime soon. So whoever the next starter is at the QB slot will continue to have weapons to work with.
