4 common opponents:

Southern Miss..........State 49-0, Bama 52-12
LSU..................State 34-29, Bama 20-13(OT)
Arkansas............State 17-10, Bama 14-13
A&M..................State 48-31, Bama 59-0

After four common opponents with so little to distinguish the two teams, I'm not sure why either side would be assuming their team would blow the other one out. I like the fact that we're at home and we have been improving, but I don't expect this to be easy.

Ahhh yes they put up great numbers after we made them turn the ball over 3 times and got a comfortable 21 point lead. Don't worry; we'll let Amari and Sims get their numbers once we have the game in control.

Don't you mean 4? You forget that we were just about to open a can of whoop arse at the end, just ran out of time

Post of the Week. Those of you who can't laugh at yourselves need to take a lesson from Old Sarge.

At home Bama averages 48.5 ppg

You may be right. Our 1Bs can be exploited when we're up multiple TDs.

You might want to revisit a dictionary if you think

(A) Leading Kentucky by 7 with 2:30 left in the game or

(B) Getting an interception in your own end zone to seal the win with 15 seconds left in the game when Arkansas had the ball 1st and 10 at your 16 yard line.

means you were in control.

Very Good point. So you are saying in the clutch when it was do or die. Bama was 6-8 passing to end the game with zero receptions by Cooper. Very telling indeed. If that does not make MSU poo their diapers then the euphoria they are feeling is just a bad case of constipation!

So how is it going to feel to get beat by a team that should have 3 losses?

Well, this goes without saying anytime you win a game by the way. I'll give you a few minutes to think about that.

Still, I think if Alabama puts up 200+ passing and rushing like Auburn did, then Alabama wins. Obviously, cannot afford 4 turnovers against a team as good as MSU.

You may want to visit a stat sheet called "game control" on ESPN so you aren't just dumbassing your way through arbitrary periods of games that were never actually in doubt.

We are about to see the Great Disappearing Act or Crying Games once again this weekend. Does MSU vanish as many of the AU posters did after taking it on the chin against a two start freshmen or do they implode into a melty sweetness and blame the refs, weather, congress, global warming, santa clause and the easter bunny for causing them to lose?
