Saban said its still a competition but what are you Bama fans hearing? Honestly it'll be embarrassing if Coker gets passed up. 5 years in college and no starts... But going with cornwell is the right decision IMO

Agreed. I'd much rather have the continuity if he is performing at 85-90% of Coker.

Neither. Just heavy speculation. There really aren't any true insiders on the boards anymore.

I'll let you know on the 2nd Friday scrimmage. One of my customers is a large contributor to the athletics department and gets 4 passes to view scrimmage each year (usually just heavy donors and family). I am supposed to attend with him this year. He told me at that scrimmage last year that Sims was going to be "the guy" at least early on. Usually by that second Friday scrimmage you know. Anything prior to that is just speculation/tea leaf reading.

So many people have reported Blake Barnett is the future at QB, just needs a yr to build his body. So if that is true, logical assumption is Coker to clear the way for Barnett.
