I see Evans as a third down player by midseason. Smart used him is passing situations based on his speed and lack of size, Bama had DL to push the QB outside. This year he will get lost in the middle of the LOS.

He will be playing middle and outside so depending on the situation he could be at either position. That will give him more exposure at 2 positions and will add to his versatility

Darron Lee got absolutely mauled by opposing blockers in more than one game last year. Didn't stop him from being a first rounder (even if it was the Jests).

I called the Bama bust in the past, especially at RB. LBs have to be able to think at the NFL level. Foster reacts more then he thinks, that is why it has taken him so long to see the field.
