Well, we've heard similar claims from LSU fans because some LSU players played in the Superdome before.

No, actually it's a quote attributed to Barrett Trotter in the Mobile paper. My point is that I hope the Bama players really believe this sort of thing. I get that it is only one comment in a sea of media coverage that says Bama will win. It would not seem like LSU has to prove they should be considered the favorite in the game, but those who think Bama is the favorite will only help LSU play with emotion despite already beating this team.

You know that Barron made the interception in the LSU game that he returned to the 5 yard line before the penalty. He was a Thorpe finalist and an All-American.
Jones was the Outland Trophy winner and is also an All American.
Hard to believe they fooled all the people selecting those awards.

I dont understand why this a big deal to SOME LSU fans. It is an advantage. Not a great advantage. But an advantage none the less.
LSU has an edge because they can practice at home. not that big of an advantage. Still is one though.
