Or awesome and in that case the extra fifth will be just as well.

Lol you can't compare bama to lsu....bama will be the brakes off lsu when they meet. Lsu didn't lose because they overlooked an opponent but because they just aren't as good

Ole Miss is still Ole Miss.

Don't care what you say about that reason, you know its true, and it will always be that way.

Yup, because things in life never change and college football programs never ever rise or fall. The CFB landscape is a static environment with no fluctuations.

Bo Wallace was quoted by AL.com as saying: “We have better players on the outside than A&M does,” and “I think we can put points on them.”

Wallace later said that his quotes were taken out of context, and he was trying to compliment his receivers and offense, but they still made their way into the Crimson Tide locker room and weight room.

“It played a big role,” former defensive end Jeoffrey Pagan said at the time about what Alabama took as disrespect.

Does anyone else think its crazy that Bama found that quote disrespectful?

Doesn't really matter, does it? If they wanted to use that to get fired up, it obviously worked since they proved Bo wrong. They didn't put up points, not even one.

Me. But I guess statements that you believe that your team can come out and execute against the other team, and possibly win a game, are disrespect and bulletin board material. It isn't for me, but then again, I'm not a huge gaping vagina.

To be fair, it's Ole Miss. Bama players and fans are grasping at straws to try and get up for this annual beatdown. Have to keep the interest level up somehow. This will have to do.

He should read tRant. He'd really laugh at Ole Miss fans thinking they're a legit contender.

i wonder why a coach might make every effort to construe comments as bulletin board material...

regardless of the intent, it isn't smart to make those kind of statements leading up to a game.

You'll still be considered the Cleveland Browns of CFB after Saturday whether you win or lose.

Statements in which you believe that you might go out and do the things you need to do to win a game? I think that's what everyone says. And your coach honestly never did that. It's been the media and fans both times.

Senior linebacker Trey DePriest said he just “laughs” at such comments, whether they’re bulletin-board material or happen on the field.

It may not have been disrespectful, but how perfect was it that Ole Miss got shut out (for the first time in 15 years) after this particular comment? I mean even you have to admit that shite is funny.

Just don't say anything other than "yes they are a good team" in the weeks leading up to the game.

Actually the Tigers expected a battle last year in Oxford. Unfortunately, it appeared that ZM took it so personally he thought he needed to win the game all on his on, which resulted in his single worst performance as a Tiger. Jarvis Landry is still waiting on Mett to come off of OBJ. He was open all night but Mett just stayed locked in on Odell for some ungodly reason. OM is talented enough to defeat 'Bama but they'll need the Tide to make stupid mistakes like Mettenberger did IMO

After watching the UF/Bama game i expect Bama to make plenty of mistakes. That game was as sloppy as can be for 3 quarters.

Sloppy from the turnover perceptive sure. And if they turn it over 4 times again on Saturday they'll be in real trouble. It's not like they were sloppy in any other area though, execution, penalties, etc as they put up more yards on Florida than Florida had ever given up.
