It's no secret to anybody that most bama players are injured on arrival to the NFL. Foster couldn't even take part in the combine and played hurt all year.

The jelly in this Auburin abortion is much.

Wasn't the argument that Pettway was a top SEC RB was that he played injured last year? Has only healthy for 7 games?
On the other side of the coin, Lawson should be the best NFL player out there, because he never played while he was hurt.

I'm glad this topic has been brought up. It's apparently obvious this has been going on for a while now.
Only time until these kids start recognizing they are only a part of a system designed to fuel a coach's success and longevity.

So when's the last Bama player to win an MVP. Or QB a team to the Super Bowl? Or QB a team to a playoff win for that matter?

I love that this is the same day that Donte Hightower is about to be one of the highest paid LBs in the NFL.

What about all of the other 4* and 5* linebackers?

Bama has three Super Bowl winning QBs, though Stabler wasn't the MVP in Super Bowl XI. Those three have 4 total rings.

Funny thread..... would read again.

The Bowl Jackson Auburn fan on this forum said that Pettway was injured and not even 50% healed when he played against Alabama, so it seems kind of hypocritical to slam Saban when your own coach is playing a guy that hurt.
So either Pettway isn't very good vs a good defense (I think it was 17 yards) or Malzahn is so desperate to beat a good team that he'll play a badly injured player, according to your own Auburn fan buddy.
So which is it?

Alabama had 2 starting Pro-Bowl linebackers, both under the age of 28, and the argument is Alabama linebackers are busts.
This is where we are in 2017.

Ummmmm....yes.
Pettway averaged 158 ypg in the 7 games he was health this year
LINK /
I gave you Pettway's ypg from the only 7 games he was healthy. Seems odd to try to include his ypc from the 2 games he played injured. So guess what Pettway's ypc is from the 7 healthy games before injury? 6.5
LINK /
All courtesy of your boy, Bowl Jackson. Thing is...it was repeated over and over that his production fell off while playing injured.

Mosley was a Pro Bowler
Foster is about to be a top 10 pick in the draft
McClain couldn't stay clean (talent was obvious in NFL)
Who else ya got?
You act like there are only success stories from every college and only busts from Bama. Truth is, there are NFL successes and NFL failures from all colleges. Bama, as a result of having more 1st rounders than any other school, has more successes and more failures than other schools, but people like you only look at the negative b/c it somehow makes you feel better about your perpetual 8-5 team.
