Sadly, it's not just at Bama. It's the mindset of younger people these days. There's a lack of responsibility to the point where nobody owns up to their actions and the consequences and they find somebody else to blame for it.
Well said. Rampant immorality amongst our young people in general is certainly going to bleed over into spotlighted groups like college athletes. Instruction toward building a morally strong foundation in America's youth begins and ends at home, with parents and guardians. Many of us fail in that regard.

I can't believe those Bama players aren't trashing their teammates on social media.

I see the problem. They need to be off the Team.I hate it.
If they don't then what kind of message are you sending to the rest of the Team?Recruits?Recruit's Mothers?

This crap is slowing killing college football. Doesn't really matter what what team they play for, although some teams seem to sweep things under the rug.

I wish all these Bama fans were reacting the way LSU fans say they're reacting. That would be entertaining

you can avoid trashing your team mates without also blaming the cops for doing their jobs. maybe not post anything to social media regarding this incident, crazy concept i know

Or they are just defending their friends like 90% of other college age kids would do in a similar situation. Immature kids gonna rally behind other immature kids that they are friends with. Shocking, I know.
Or they have spoken to their friends and have heard a second side of the story and are choosing to believe that side.

A lot of people have a hard time accepting responsibility for their actions, not just at Bama.
It's all over the place
It's all over the place

I don't recall ever tweeting about my friends getting arrested. i also don't recall having friends carrying stolen guns in their cars getting caught. and when i did have friend that was arrested for something, 99% of the time it was their own stupidity that caused it, and the person arrested also realized that.

It really isn't a Bama thing. Most people these days are always looking to point the finger at others, instead of taking personal responsibility. Saw a lady order soup at a restaurant, promptly knocked it over, spilling it on herself, burned herself pretty bad, and then promptly got pissed at the restaurant for providing hot soup. Nevermind it was her stupid fault for spilling it on herself. Started yelling at the wait staff and the manager who was trying to help her. No idea how it was the restaurant's fault. However, I can see the lawsuit on its way. Its so sad as you know her kids watching are learning to behave in the exact same way. Its just the way things are now a days.

literally nothing? blaming the cops for two players being idiots is ignorant, plain and simple. if they had tweeted something along the lines of "we're here for you" I don't think anyone would be laughing at them.
