Kickoff returns and turnovers. Our offense is gonna move the ball and at least get fg's... which is enough to win with our defense. Getting turnovers and scoring off them, will be the key to beating us imo. I think we go to ATL 12-0 and leave 13-0 too. Florida has a great D, but ours is better and I think our offense is more diverse. Their strength is the run, and that's what our D specializes in. Shut down Riley, and their passing is gone.

I can't remember his name right now for some reason but you've gotta watch Florida's TE too.

Arenas loves being hit on PR's. He is tough as nails, but he could cough one up if he's not careful, especially the way teams are trying to kick from him.

He's good too. But if Riley is shutdown, I think that effectively shuts down their passing. I don't think their TE can win the game for them with a huge day. I could be wrong though.

i cant wait til next year when we get a kicker that can kick and not be scared shitless about actually making contact with someone. Every alabama fan knows im right. Again great kicker but he needs to man up. Can Rolando kick off

That said, in y'all's opinion - how do you beat Alabama?

Dan Mullen may have been dense in saying what he was thinking, but he does know how to beat Alabama.

I know this will bother LSU fans, but Gary Crowton had a good plan. They hurried up (a la Utah) and that sort of minimized what Bama does in matching up personnel and letting Rolo check in and out of stuff.

Mullen is right in lining up in spread sets and running the football. You can't line up in the I and pound us, unless you have some men up front with a couple of freaks at RB. Florida doesn't.

I think you can beat us over the top. That is really what happened to us last year versus Florida. We play pretty good defense for most of the night, but gave up 3 balls over the top of the corners. This game sold me on Tebow, because he passed them to victory.

Watching UF yesterday gave me encouragement thought because Riley Cooper was running wide open a couple of times but couldn't make a play on a deep ball.

I really think that UF team last year was one of the better teams in the last 25 years. We match up a lot better with them this year.

btw..

while there's been a ton of flaming from time to time. This board is the shite. There is no other place like this one where all fans can speak freely and can critique without getting gone. And a belated thanks for keeping the really bad flaming cleaned up for the most part.

If the Patriots win I'm feeling pretty good about getting some tonight. The wifey cheers for the Pats like they are wearing crimson with numbers on there helmet.

Brandon James might be a big factor in the SEC championship, his ability to flip the field can spark the Florida offense.

If Fl beats us, I think he will be the main reason with returns.

We did a pretty good job against him last year.

He and Holliday are a lot alike to me. Both are extremely quick and if they get past the front line it gets ugly quick.

This is where I think Javy excels though. He runs thru tackles that Holliday and James don't because they are so small. Javy is ridiculously stong for his size. He runs well and he has some quicks also, but he refuses to go down.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a pooch kick versus UF.

Lane Bearden spoiled the BAMA fans but tiffin apparantly does not like contact.

Gotta say the coverage team was better in '08.

I think James has some moves along with his speed, Holliday is more straight line.

I hope Javy can get going against UF's punter, because only 2 of his punts have been returned this year.

It's a trade off. Wouldn't trade his leg this year for any tackles he's decided to run away from.

'08 Tiffin did until he got his bell rung by Tulane. But I'll take his consistent kicking instead of him dragging down a player on kickoffs...

No doubt.

Sad thing is how many times the kicker is having to make the tackle.

I agree. That leg has been money this year.

For the love of God, kickoff coverage. It was almost funny the first few weeks of the season, but sweet Lord we're 10 games in and it's still going on.

Without doubt. For all the hell he caught his first year.. what was it.. against Arky with the misses?.. he's more than made up for it this year.
