I will wager my favorite Egyptian cotton 1500 thread counter that this line is under a field goal by next Friday.

There is no way it moves 4 points without something happening. Every one of bama's previous opponents could lose by 4 TDs this weekend and nobody would notice. Unless you have a scoop that Coker and Grier were training together, I'm not sure what makes you think that.

I wouldn't take that. No way.

We might cover, sure, but that's not a good bet at all. I would have set the line at LSU a 1 or 2 point favorite.

Vegas is wanting money on LSU. If the line don't drop over the next week, which I don't think it will, Bama going in dry.

Line should be more like -2.5 for Bama IMO

I agree but people are going to bet on Bama regardless

The odds makers are real idiots. This is a sucker bet if I've ever seen one....looks just like the Utah/USC game last week. Go for it coonasses!

6.5 is about right I think. Vegas isn't worried about what you squares are betting...they just play to the sharps who do it for a living. That said I wouldn't be surprised to see this move down to -4 or -4.5 but not much lower than that

Agreed, if you're looking for value.

If LSU covers, they win IMO, so either take LSU on the M/L or Bama - 6.5.

I don't think it looks like that game at all. That was a tough matchup for Utah after coming off three big games against Oregon Cal and Arizona St. then having to travel to USC made it a classic let down game. The sharps pounded USC and moved that number from 3.5 to 6 before kickoff. I doubt this one will see that kind of sharp action. They won't lay more than a TD in this one, particularly considering divisional opponents in a rivalry type game

If what I'm hearing is true and Tom Ritter's crew is officiating then the line should move to Bama -28 very quickly. I was praying he wouldn't be involved but looks like maybe I should repent more.
