This is true, but his point is that having double the amount of second place already logically implies having more than second and third place combined (unless 2nd and 3rd place are tied). Your claim was essentially redundant.

Exactly

Bama also has twice as many fans on government welfare.

That's just because we have twice as many fans.

Meh, the playoffs have now officially rendered the conference championships meaningless.

At least we still get to have our national champion selected by opinion polls.

That's what happens when you have program backing that does not accept 2nd place.

Sadly, mine and many others seem to be happy with 2nd or 3rd place.

Seriously, Georgia has twice the population of Alabama with only Tech as an in-state contender. For them not to be a championship contender every year can only be traced back to a lack of desire to invest in a championship effort.

Well, it was a bragging thread from the get-go. So not sure why you're using that graphic.

Twice as many as the next highest SEC team is nice, however, Kentucky has 4 TIMES as many national championships as any other SEC school and TWICE as many as all of the other conference teams combined! All of this in a sport that chooses its champion in a format that makes it much more difficult for a dominant team to win championships consistently. Bama has had a nice run but let's put things in perspective

Congrats! I'm sure we will see that printed on T-shirts at our local Walmart soon.

This is too far Gump. Find one Gator fan that doesn't realize UF cared about football until the 80s. It could be argued that the 90s would be more correct.

Basketball's not a sport, it's an indoor activity you do when you can't go outside to play actual sports.

Sorry.

LSU has double digit SEC titles in Football, Basketball, and Baseball.

A TRIPLE DOUBLE of championships

Alabama = king of football
Kentucky = King of basketball
LSU = King of overall sports

That's just not nice. But six of one, half dozen of another.
