Confidence- QB play is a lot better this year. Will be key against a tough rushing defense.

Concern- stopping the run. Granted LSU has been great against the run, but we haven't really played any true running teams. Will be interesting to see how we do.

That's silly. The remainder of your stable is either injured or lackluster. Guice is pushing double digits on YPC over a reasonable sample size.

This is all moot anyway, since both LF and DH are both 100%. It's like saying, AU, you would be very average in 2010 without Cam Newton.

I respectfully disagree with that. Your QB tries to hard to make every down the big play whereas ours will throw it out of bound. Harris has played well this year and he has done exactly what we needed this year

valid pt ... i think we have a better passing game simply because we pass more and everybody's a bit more used to it - wr, blocking, audibles, etc ... but harris has been efficient ... very ...

Not at all. Henry going down is much less impactful than you losing Fournette.

That's where you would be very wrong. DH is not nearly as important to Bama's success as Fournette is to LSU's.

somebody has been eating crazy pills today. Please tell me about any back up RB Bama has that is better than Guice? Henry goes down your F'd....LF goes down Guice will get it done.

LSU has the better premiere back and a deeper stable of backs. Go look up the production.

LSU has the best oline in the nation.

LSU is a more efficient passing team than Bama.

Don't know where you are getting this one-dimensional offense thing from.

Bama has a great defense and throws for more yards per game. That's about it.

Keep convincing yourself this is like playing UGA when we are superior to them at every element of our offense this year.

So basically he had a little over five yards per carry on sweeps and option runs. Dumb statement including Tennessee having success running.

Tennessee had around 100 yards rushing on y'all in the FIRST HALF.

LSU and offense is just not a concept that I can grasp. You have had much better offense recently and not been able to win. What makes this year different?

LSU front 7 is better this year than they were in 2013. Teams that beat LSU were able to run right at them pretty easily. Rewatch 2nd half of Bama vs. LSU 2013

Five downvotes for simply correcting a factually untrue statement about Bama's football team. This place hates reality

What makes this year different is that our OL is way better and Harris probably poses more of a threat to your scheme than Mett IMO. Last year, we didn't set the world on fire with our ground game against yall but we used it to control the game. And we were way more one-dimensional then.

Last year's LSU offense sucked and we essentially had you beat if not for you know, Chavis.

No, I wish. Those guys make great money. I manage the training department for a software company. We have our annual customer conference this time of year. We've been alternating between Vegas and New Orleans but next year we'll move to Atlanta. I'll be teaching some classes this weekend. I travel quite a bit but genuinely like my job most days and enjoy what I do. Otherwise I would have moved back to Louisiana.
