The box was pretty empty for a good number of games last year. College baseball isn't relevant enough for fans to give a shite about mediocre or bad teams.

So does that mean I get to lose respect for LSU since they didn't support the basketball program? No, absolutely not. No school supports all three major sports religiously, especially when said sport isn't up to par at the moment.

Some of the Lsu fans are mad cause few Bama fans care about college baseball cause that's the only thing they can hang there hat on after the nation watched Bama blow them out of the Superdome..

Overall, I agree but I have to admit college baseball is pretty cool when you have a really good team. I was at Alabama when Wells arrived we immediately became really good. Basketball was far and away the #2 sport for me as I had grown up going to just as many basketball games as football games growing up. I was a child of the 80s and had never known anything other than Sweet 16s, SEC tournament champions and battling with the rest of the SEC for the title of 2nd best SEC basketball program. My freshmen year the baseball team never crossed my mind but I was heavily into them my junior and senior years which happened to be 2 teams that went to the CWS. I have to admit that baseball is really cool when you are good and I kinda get why LSU, State, USCe, and Ole Miss consider it their #2 sport behind football.
The one SEC sports team that totally bewilders me above all though is LSU basketball. LSU has a great basketball history and LSU fans seemed to really care about basketball when I was growing up but now they don't seem to give a s### about basketball even when they had a Final 4 team a few years ago under Brady. The huge shift in interest in the basketball program from 20 years ago till now among LSU fans is just baffling.

yea, it's not like LSU has won 2 of the last 3.
Dont act like baseball is the only sport in which LSU can give Alabama trouble in. We split football games in 2011. It is what it is.

Yeah it is sad. We have one of the best histories in the SEC but the support has eroded significantly. Hopefully Johnny Jones can Bring Back the Magic

I'm curious...in what you're trying to say, are you meaning that Alabama just isn't that great of a fanbase while also trying to imply LSU has the best fanbase, or are you just merely saying Alabama isn't that great?

It's funny how all the bama fans on this board no longer care about the baseball team. A few years ago yall had in game threads on baseball when yall were winning.
Bama's rival webstie just completely ignores the baseball team now too. You cant say that about LSU basketball. Our websites still cover the team even if we suck and our fans still care even though they may not be at the games, you can see that on the rant.
Bama acts like the losing teams dont even exist anymore.
