Yea they were so much more better than anything LSU could fathom and yet somehow were beat by that LSU team at their own stadium of all places.
Then for the first and last time in the history of the BCS they were given a rematch that caused a drastic change in how the BCS system will be played (playoffs) and to their credit took advantage of it.
It's cool though we all know you're the chief assclown of the Arkansas troll brigade, who can't talk about any accomplishments by their own team so have to resort to pathetic attempts at flaming their "rivals" to the south.

everyone has an off game. They made up for it by shutting you guys out and scoring more points than both teams combined in the previous game. It's clear LSU didn't get bama's best shot that day.

why are you so mad about this. I think it's a valid point that the SEC Champ has already been shown once to be vastly inferior to their championship game opponent, why couldn't that happen again.

I think most Bama fans and alot of football fans in general would agree that LSU just didn't show up prepared for that game.LSU wasn't overrated, their resume' that year speaks for itself. It's possible to get lucky on occasion, but they beat alot of really good teams last year.
The Sec will continue to get the open door to the BCS championship until someone else wins it. History dictates that the SEC has the best team annually, until that changes, they're obviously not overrated.

That being said elite SEC teams in the SEC like A&M,UG,UF,SC,LSU,Bama on any given Saturday can "be the better team."
Bama has had some luck to get to the BCSNCG though as every team does somewhere in their games, schedule, opponents...etc

Funny last years SEC championship team beat the holy piss out of the best team Arkansas ever fielded, so y'all being ranked #3 at the time is definitely the definition of overrated.

I wouldn't say that's a very elite club considering it's almost half the conference. I'd say Bama is the only truely elite team the rest are pretenders.

We were overrated at the point thanks to the ESPN hype machine. We benefited from the SEC rankings bump almost as much as LSU did.

Agreed. I said it last year that LSU was head and shoulders above every other team in the country. But Bama's 2011 team may have been the best team we ever had. At least since Bryant was coach. I said it before and after both LSU games last year that Bama was a 10-14pt better team. A 10 pt better team can still get beat and we did in T-town, but a 10pt better team can also blow you out like in the NC game.

LSU did not show up. If we showed up it would've been a much better game. Bama 11 and LSU 11 would frick up any team this year, and it wouldn't be remotely close. We were not over rated last year

If ND is going to win, they need some big plays early to grab the lead.
If you look at the teams that went toe to toe with Bama this year, they all had 4th quarter leads (A&M, LSU, Georgia). This puts Bama in hurry up mode and makes them more beatable. If Bama has the lead in the 4th against ND, they will simply run the ball until ND caves.
