Is your point that Fournette still sucks because he only averaged 3.76 YPC against Alabama as a true freshman with an offense that was #116 in the nation in passing offense? Or that he sucks because he only ran for 31 yards against the #1 rushing defense in the nation last year?
So what does that say about Derrick Henry Henry when he averaged 3.75 against the the #11 rushing defense (MSU) and only 3.52 against the #12 rushing defense (Arkansas) in his Heisman season?

It's been a long time. Personally, I'd rather have the stellar post-Darby injury 2004 running back group than this one.

It would have been on point, but still would have been a terrible troll.
This time last year, every non-Bama fan on here was saying how Bama's running game was going to suck because Henry was too big and slow starting to be a successful feature back.
We all know how that one worked out.

That's the career stats for Alabama's entire corps. Saying they're unproven is probably an understatement, but I'm giving Saban and co. the benefit of the doubt. They will have someone step up and be productive, most likely.

Oh, yeah they're very unproven, but what makes it a bad troll is that the next year Saban has a bad running game at Bama will be the first year. The historical precedent is that the RB situation will be just fine.
The question about the unproven situation might have generated some legitimate discussion, but that wasn't the OP's mission. He just came here to troll. He's been doing it all week. The only question is if he's merely trying to rustle Bama fans or if his real purpose is to try and convince himself that this is finally the year!

Hence the reason I said using "unproven" would have been a better troll attempt, but notice I never said it would be a good one.
