What is so funny to me is that Alabama fan thinks their team will never have a drop off at any position, ever. That time will come sooner or later. Will it be this year at QB, RB or another position? Time will tell but it will happen.

Ok....and? So say Bama doesn't win the National Title this season. Should we hang our heads in utter shame. Who the frick wins it every year? Show me a team that has been on this historic of a run in the modern era please. If there's a dropoff occasionally, oh fricking well.

There is no evidence that Leonard Fournette is good vs. Bama

Well he did rush for 79 yards against them as a freshman. And his 31 against Bama last year is still more the combined 24 Derrick Henry gained against LSU in his first 2 seasons.

Wait. You're telling me it ain't just the offensive line that makes a bunch of flunkies lining up at RB just look good? Because that's what we've heard for damn near 10 years.

We don't have a proven guy, but we have 2 5*s and a 4*. We will be fine.

LSU82Bill, that might be the most desperate thing I've seen today and that is saying a lot. Henry didn't play against LSU in 2013 though he did have 8 carries for 24 as the number 3 back working with second unit in 2014.

Com'on, you are trying way to hard. It is ok you too can pull yourself out of the sour abyss of denial and rationalization that you've lived in for 10 sad years. The first step is to admit you have a problem.

You make a vid point, but OP apparently has quite a reputation for shitposting on multiple boards.

They have the top ranked recruiting class every year. In order for there to be a major dropoff, they would have to miss on player evaluations for multiple players at the same position, fail to develop guys with talent or have a debilitating string of injuries at a particular position (or some combination).

Even if they have a down year due to any of the above or some other, unrelated reason, it's still a pretty good year by most other teams' standards. They're not ever going to have an 8-5 or 7-6 season under Saban.

Pansy way of thinking if you ask me.

Last year, depth was pretty bad. Thank God Henry stayed healthy.

What?

No shite it will happen. The hell is with other fans getting so sour when Alabama fans say, "hey, Alabama is gonna be pretty fricking good this year...?"

No, Henry isn't there anymore. But, what did you think of him before the season last year? What'd you think about the 3 freshman in the secondary? What do you think about the returning pass catchers? DL? LB?

There will come a time when Alabama sucks arse again. Not sure when it will be. But Alabama fans have been right more often than not about the team these last 8 or so years.

Sorry you can't see that.

Man, I wish we would have gotten Jacobs. Dude is criminally underrated. Really happy with Crockett though. Looks like he's going to be a player.

I had no idea who he was until my dad told me he'd be a good one. Not sure how consistent he is, being a freshman and all, but he's lit it the frick up at practice at times.

When will LSU have a drop off period answer that for me since you already know Bama's is coming, does that mean LSU's drop off is already here since you guys record is always worse than ours or is LSU gonna get worse than the shite they been doing lately ?

Alabama leads the series with LSU 50–25–5, so we'd have to "drop off" for about a 100 years to get y'all back in the game.
