Screw Tennessee, the color orange, all their mangy flea-bitten coon hounds, and their hill-billy Clem Kadiddlehopper fans. I Don’t care how many times we beat their arse, it NEVER gets old.

LUSers don’t have any idea about what a rivalry is. Personally, it might be productive for TAM to beat them about four in a row. That just might give the LUSers something to do other than pea in the floor and sit up and beg for Alabama table scraps like an untrained puppy. God it gets old....

I thought this was a great post, OP. Not sure why everyone was so down on it. You made some great points.

That’s... good?
Losing the NC is absolutely good on the scale that we use to weigh goodness in CFB.

Having the same record against Alabama as Tennessee over your last 8 attempts and scoring less points than Tennessee.....bad.

Bama Tennessee is why the rest of the league isn’t allowed to have nice stuff. To protect that shitty third rate “ rivalry “ from the first half of the last century .

Were you complaining when Tennessee was kicking the shite out of Alabama every year for over a decade?

Well Lookie here... a “schedule,” “SEC Office in Birmingham,” “Bama bias,” post....from a corn doggie. Who would have guessed?

How unusual, succinct, and insightful...next thing you know an LUSer will post about contacting the FBI or not-fair-having-to-play-Arkansas-when-it’s-cold-with-no-hot chocolate, or maybe even Steve Shaw-Ritter-refs and holding calls.

Here is a new idea...if LUSers don’t like it, take your sorry-arse team and whinny fans to the big XII where they will welcome your attempts to tell everyone who they should have a rivalry with.

LSU has really been disappointing for the better part of a decade.

Don’t understand why CBS continues to think it’s worthy of prime time every year. Maybe to show the country what a shutout looks like?

I look forward to the annual beating of the Vols. If you were sitting in the stands watching Peyton lead the vol band after kicking arse, you would too.

The vols suck. But as my vol brother pointed out earlier, so does lsu.

The last time Tennessee was shutout by Bama was 1980.

For anyone wondering.

I asked a group of guys in my office in Texas if they knew what the “Third Saturday in October” was

They all looked at my dumbfounded.

So I said “college football”

Still nothing

“Rivalry”

Nothing

“In the SEC...”

Blank stares

For such a huge, unmovable, impossible to cancel rivalry game it sure doesn’t seem to be we’ll known

ETA: followed it up with what about Worlds Largest Outdoor Cocktail party”? Instant answer. Then I said “what about the Iron Bowl?” Instant answer
