Yea his first two years he was in the NCAA tournament, including being one win away from Omaha in a super regional. Also made it to an SEC tournament final. Definately not competitive. Sure this year has blown, but over 65% of our pitches have been thrown by true freshmen. That should pay off in the coming years.

He has another year. He may have to make some changes on the staff after this season, though.

Does he recruit well? He was coaching Well's players the first two years. Why are we hurting for pitchers? I'm not being an arse, just asking.

We lost everyone last year. Wolfe and Hawley were the top 2 coming in this year, and both went down before opening day with injuries.
He supposedly has a good class coming in, but until we can get a reasonable number of scholly players we'll never recruit like we should.
