Dude, they planned for this game for a year. LSU played way aboe their heads last night because they have been practicing this gameplan since January. There is nothing to see here.

jesus fricking christ, it was one game. you guys had pretty much everything going your way, bye week, home field, and AJ had an off night. Did your 'prevent' d allow us to score 14 points in the 1st half, or run all over you for 7 ypc? sure you put up lots of yards, but not because ther is anything wrong with our D, they were on the goddamn field for 40 minutes. and that is mostly due to our bizarre play calling in the 2nd half. you guys were keyed into the pass, so we should have been running, but instead we kept try to pass on 1st and 2nd down instead of running it right at you. we should have done run untill you had to adjust, but instead we kept giving you the ball over and over with incompletions. if you factor in time of possession, our d actually performed marvelously.

Any Bama fan that's think this year's Bama defense is any where NEAR 2011 Bama defense , is ignorant. Plain and simple. Last year's defense was disgustingly good. This year's defense gave up 400 yards to or of the worst offenses in the SEC and more than once gave up first downs by us running on 3rd and 4. That would've never happened lat year.

The 2011 defense was one of the greatest of all time. I would say that this defense is more like 2009.

I'm a little surprised at this from you. Lsu is a top team. Played there best game of the year in one of the best environments in all of college football. Were you expecting a blow out?

Bama fans should probably take a step back and wait to after next weekend to continue to proclaim how great they are. I mean bama has played 1 team currently ranked in the top 20 and probably should have lost to them (and certainly got outplayed by them).

For the most part I agree. Bama's offense is much better, but the defense has taken a step back. It's still the best D in football by far, but last year's D was the best in 2 decades.

It seems to me that the LSU fans are the ones putting Bama on a pedestal. Most logical fans knew that this would be a fight...it always is, minus 1/9/12 of course.

We played pretty damn well against South Carolina too. This one just gets more attention because of the opponent.
LSU has played three really good games in a row, despite questionable coaching decisions. They seem to be coming together well.

it's going to be a long time before alabama, or maybe anyone sees a cfb defense like 2011 alabama.
i don't think this year's alabama is the greatest of all time. but, it's the first time i can remember having an offense that can bail out the defense when needed. this is not the greatest alabama team, but it might be the most balanced in a very long time.
