So you don't find it suspicious that a program with a 12-12 record the last two seasons has gotten the #1 players out of Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi with a good shot at the #1 player in South Carolina?

Do you find it suspicious that a team that sucked all decade (for the most part) signed the number 1 class in the nation with a coach that went 6-6 and was slammed by the national media in a tidal wave of negativity his entire first year being called a lying weasel with no integrity?

We can do this all day dumbass.

Wait...

Maybe you did not find it strange.

After all your school does have a very recent history (hell they are still on probabation) for committing the "worst infractions in NCAA history".

Hell that chart you posted is worthless considering all 5 of bama's MAJOR infractions have come after the Bear and recently. All but 1 of AU's were back in the 70's and earlier.

You really want to keep doing this shite?

4 South Carolina
3 Mississippi
2 Louisiana State
1 Tennessee
1 Vanderbilt

2 of Auburn's major infractions are from prior incidents where they reopened the case. Auburn has 5 incidents but was busted 7 times due to the fact the NCAA said they missed something in their investigation.

This staff was built to recruit, that is what Chizik built it to do. Gus recruits well just by his name, thigpen was the best recruiter on UNC's staff, Trooper is an amazing recruiter, Luper as well. Also the staff is promoting a family atmosphere and they have taken recruiting to a new level of showing players how they'll be utilized at the school. We've had players leave saying the coaches didn't tell them what they wanted to hear but what they needed to hear. Chizik told one guy who wanted to play QB that he hasn't seen any 5'10" QBs in the NFL but he's seen a lot of 5'10" corners then goes on about the corners he's put in the NFL and Thorpe award winners.

Auburn has early playing time to offer as well coupled with the energy this staff is putting out is just amazing.

We cut ties with the folks involved. Yall still have an office for the coach that did yalls deed in the sports complex and was influential in Chiz's hire.

bullshite. Bama still has all their boosters out there. Hell you guys killed a guy to shut him up.

Still want to keep doing this? We can link to the guy's story that fell down the stairs and was attacked by a shite load of knives on the way down before he was going to have to testify.

Tenn. police are the ones that changed their story. I'd think they was covering up for Tenn folks if that death was not incidental. Still doesn't erase the fact that the guy who paid players for yall still has an office in the sports dept and comes and goes as he pleases and was influential in the hiring of Chiz.

Most of the players Alabama got in '08 were from the state of Alabama. Most of the recruits and their families wanted to play football in state i.e. Julio Jones. Saban didn't get many top players from outside the state.

Of course he does. He is in the NCAAF Hall of Fame and one of the best coaches the SEC has ever seen. If you remember what brought him down, it was the accusation of helping a broke married player with a kid maybe try to get a loan at a bank. And that is an accusation that was never proven. Dye claims he told the bank to treat him as any other customer. Ramsey was a bitter and desperate player that also received a few thousand dollars in total in sums of a couple of hundred here and there and some free steaks over his entire career. It was why he was so broke he tried to get a loan, was unable, then tried to blackmail AU.

Hell, if we were like Bama, we would have just given him tens of thousands and never had a problem.

Probably didn't help that influencing money institutions to help a player is against NCAA rules.

That is great. What hasn't been proven is what can the recruiting maniacs Chiz hired do with the talent they bring in. You dropped 5 of the last seven this year. Yeah, you have a depth issues. But if I was an AU fan, I would temper my excitement. Wipe off the 8 roper that everyone is putting on your chin over the recruiting haul, and see what happens once all the 5 stars have to execute on the field.
