Well, next year would seem to be the year. AJ & CJ both gone. Gators on the schedule. LSU in Baton Rouge. 2/5 of the OL being replaced.

I'm not reading all that but Bama has won 3 of 4 national championships and LSU has zero since 2007. So no you're not on the same level as Bama.

There is a real chance CyKo stays since his stock took a small hit this year. This would mean we only would have to replace Steen.

LSU consistently loses to Olé Miss. Lol not close to the same level because the head to head game is close every year.

Sum.
If BCS said OSU and not Bama in 2011 "rematch" Lsu would have crystal and won 2 straight vs bama.
2012 was a pubic hair.
Thats how close the games were. BCS says OSU and LSU gets one stop and LSU has all the Crystal.
My point is not to take away from Bama but to applaud to teams that have played each other basically even.
I am applauding the athletes at Bama and LSU and the lower level coaches that are resposible for turning the freshmen into ready to replace first rounders in 2 years warriors.
I consider the SEC Championship to be the National Championship anyway.
But Bama fans that are smart know what I mean. It is a thin thin thin line between who has the dynasty.
I find it amazing that the staffs could keep it going so long.

I think next year could be a down season for Bama.
There's not a suitable replacement for McCarron. Sims has a long way to go.

I was at the Vandy-Ole Miss game this year. Nice win - anchor down.

Its going to take a real fan and a real fan of the sport to respond as I hope. The idiots have no chance - its above yall so just post a picture of a pile of shite or something.
This is a real thread. I think the strength and speed programs are behind the success of both teams as well as the coaches. But someone turns a freshmen into something Miles or Saban can use.
Look at all the 4 5 stars at USC and TEXAS that just get fat and give up.

I guess I am saying its amazing there are so few busts and so many high school players turned into NFLers for like a 10 year span whee neither team blinked.
Its like nothing Ive never seen in sports.
For those, and I think there are many who dont follow football closely on the thread. Look at the records and scores for last few years. Its a razor thin for who has 1 vs. 3 I am applauding both staffs for keeping this on going. It feels like it has to end for any coach. Just guys not panning out. But it isnt happening.
Thank you for all the good answers by Bama fans on this thread. I appreciate it. It could have been taken over by the dip shits.

I think 21-0 was more like going comatose than blinking. And you're certainly not improving this season.

21-0 is a game that Bama was within hundreths of points of not getting to play in.
Waiting for Cotton.
LSU won at Bama - that should have been enough after that schedule including oregon and lie 8 ranked teams.
But you are not getting my point at all. Sadly you are on the side that doesn't understand the point.
My advice read and learn and then take it to the job market.
The scores are what they are. The teams split. They are both very good - got it. They won at Bama - that is not easy. Their reward - play Bama again. That will never happen again in similar circumstances.

I knew it was you
Btw I agree with what you have said in this thread and to answer your question, next year will be our roughest in the foreseeable future. Losing one of, if not they most successful QB of all time, will not be easy. I see two to three loses next year.

Yea its me Neuromancer. Interesting about AJ leaving. Always hard to replace that kind of talent. His drive at Death Valley sold me.
What is the plan after him?

The reason for this whole line is for the OP to posit LSU being equal to Alabama... [yawn] ... they aren't.
OP doesn't seem to be aware that it HAS happened before. Fla. State defeated Florida in 1996 during season, got destroyed in the NC rematch in the Sugar Bowl. God, the butt hurt over having to face what everyone in LSU knew was a better team even if ranked #2, is delicious.
No while LSU has been good, it doesn't seem to be on a "run." One SEC championship in 7 years doesn't make a "run", or does it? OP seems to be just another desperate LSU fan "Pleasse notice us, look at us...". Ummmm... ok ... what about you?
Next year will be interesting for the entire SEC, including Alabama. Lots of QBs gone. I don't see a single team with an established returning unit except maybe Ole Miss, possibly Auburn, Tennessee might be surprising.
Alabama will have as much or more to replace as anyone. But next year could be especially tough for LSU. They lose everything, all skill players on offense and key people on defense ... but with few quality replacements ready to go. That cupboard is bare.... the decline is on.
